Who is responsible

Website hosting and technical access data

Cloudflare provides public DNS, content delivery, caching and security services for LaunchSetup.gg. When visitors access the website, Cloudflare may process technical request information needed to deliver the requested pages and files, maintain reliable operation, protect the website from abuse, detect security issues and diagnose technical errors.

Depending on the request and Cloudflare's systems, this information may include the IP address, requested page or file, date and time, browser or device information, referring page, response status and technical security information. LaunchSetup does not claim that every field is permanently stored. Retention is determined by the operational and security requirements of the applicable infrastructure service.

Analytics and event tracking

LaunchSetup does not currently use an active analytics provider. The website contains local event instrumentation for selected interface actions, including affiliate-link clicks and jumps to product sections. These events are not currently transmitted to or collected by an analytics service.

Because no compatible analytics provider is currently active, LaunchSetup does not receive reports for the affiliate_click or picks_jump_click events.

If an analytics service is activated in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when that processing begins.

Cookies and browser storage

The current LaunchSetup application code does not set non-essential first-party cookies and does not use browser storage for analytics or advertising. It does not use sessionStorage or IndexedDB.

The interactive launch checklist uses localStorage to save checklist progress in the visitor's browser. This data remains on the device and can be removed with the checklist reset control or by clearing browser storage.

Affiliate and external links

LaunchSetup contains links to external websites, including Amazon. When you follow an external link, you leave LaunchSetup. The destination website processes information according to its own privacy policy, cookie settings and technical systems.

Amazon affiliate links contain parameters that identify LaunchSetup as the referring Associate. LaunchSetup does not currently send the full Amazon destination URL or its query parameters to an analytics provider.

Email contact

Visitors can contact LaunchSetup at support@launchsetup.gg. When someone sends an email, the information contained in the message, the sender's email address and related technical email metadata may be processed in order to read, respond to and manage the request.

Email correspondence is retained only for as long as necessary to respond to the request, manage related follow-up matters and meet applicable legal obligations.

Contact forms, accounts and newsletters

LaunchSetup currently does not provide user accounts, a newsletter signup or a website contact form. Visitors can contact LaunchSetup by email at support@launchsetup.gg.

Recipients and international processing

Cloudflare may receive technical access information when providing DNS, content delivery, caching and security services. The public support address also uses Cloudflare Email Routing to route incoming messages. The private destination mailbox is not published on this website.

External websites opened by a visitor, including Amazon, process information under their own privacy terms. Processing locations may depend on the systems and infrastructure used by those providers; LaunchSetup does not control that processing.

Legal bases for processing

Where applicable, technical website operation and security are based on the legitimate interest in providing a secure and reliable website. Email inquiries may be processed to respond to pre-contractual or service-related requests where applicable, or based on the legitimate interest in communicating with visitors and managing inquiries.

Data retention

LaunchSetup retains information only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was processed, to respond to requests, maintain website security and meet applicable legal obligations. Technical retention periods may also depend on the operational and security requirements of Cloudflare.

Your privacy rights

Where applicable, visitors may have rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection, data portability and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent. The availability of a particular right depends on the circumstances and applicable law.

Right to complain

Visitors may have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. For Austria, this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde).

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This policy may be updated when the website, its service providers or its data-processing activities change. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the latest revision.
